A series in which the line itself becomes the subject. Drawing on the tradition of calligraphy as a discipline in which mark-making is both skilled act and expressive gesture, these paintings bring a distinct sensibility into my geometric framework. The result is art in which fluidity and precision coalesce. Each mark is measured and intentional, carrying the quality of what is written rather than constructed. The series speaks to collectors interested in the intersection of text, image, and abstract form.
